Let’s get back together!
APT Texas (Austin region) invites you to a tour and happy hour on Wednesday, May 25. If you missed the recent Preservation Austin tour of the 1935 Travis County Probate Courthouse, here’s an opportunity to tour this recently restored former federal courthouse. If you missed seeing the faces of friendly preservation folks in Austin, here’s an opportunity to raise a glass together.
Event details
4:00 – 5:00pm: Tour of Travis County Probate Courthouse (200 W 8th Street)
5:15 – 7:00pm: Happy hour at the Driskill Hotel bar (604 Brazos Street)
You do not need to be an APT Texas chapter member to attend, but the courthouse tour is limited to 10 people. If you would like to join the tour, please email Betsy Frederick-Rothwell at betsy.frederick-rothwell@thc.texas.gov.
If you can’t make the tour, please join us at the Driskill for some preservationist social time! We’ll have an APT logo up at our table at the second-floor bar, so if you’re new you’ll know you’re in the right place.
