Evaluation of Terra Cotta Cladding Systems Webinar

Join us for our first fall lecture!

In this webinar, WJE architects Ed Gerns and Matt Novesky (both from WJE's Chicago office) will give an overview of terra cotta cladding systems and explain how they differ from other cladding systems of similar vintage. After reviewing traditional structural systems, anchorage techniques, and detailing associated with terra cotta, Ed and Matt will describe distress and failure mechanisms. They will then guide participants through a systematic approach for evaluating terra cotta facades, including both laboratory and field testing. This is a prerecorded presentation. APT Texas will be moderating the presentation and WJE’s Chris McInnis will help with question, answer, and discussion after the presentation.
